Put a Fork in em: The Sox fell apart.

Not sure I should be surprised with the Sox dynasty falling apart so fast, what with free agency and everything. But I can't put the blame on their pitching (starting or relief) like everyone else. This team has looked lost in the field and plate since July. The starting pitching has really started to come back, but the lack of a consistent line up and sub par outfielders ie Pods/ Mack has killed this team. Add this with poor management and just trying to repeat to begin with, you could see this title defense unraveling fast. Believe me, I think this team has the nucleus to make a serious run next year and possibly the next. Ther was just too much going against them this year. I mean come on, the three best teams in baseball come from the AL Central. The Sox had a part in this I believe also, they taught Minny and Motor City Kittys how to win. Not to sound like a pathetic Cubs Fan (is that redundant?) but I can't wait till next year.

Speaking of next year, the young Cyclones are going through a stretch( Iowa, Texas, Oklahoma, Nebraska) that is going to help make them a national contender next year. The offense, led by Bret Meyer is going to probably lead the nation next year in alot of categories and the young defense will only get better. Next year might be a catch us if you can year on offense. Not giving up on this year just yet( still expect a big upset, and a run at the north championship) but watch out.

Now if the republicans can flame out in November......
